Vardan Stepanyan is a corporate lawyer with over two decades of international experience across Armenia and Ukraine. As Managing Director of K&P Law Firm, he oversees the firm’s corporate, regulatory, and international advisory practices. His work includes complex cross-border structuring, market-entry support, compliance, and transaction management for organizations operating in both traditional and emerging industries.

In addition to his background in finance and corporate law, Vardan has developed experience advising clients involved in Armenia’s growing medical tourism, reproductive services, and family-planning sectors, including guidance on regulatory frameworks, corporate structures, and operational compliance.

• Legal advisor on corporate structuring and compliance for organizations involved in medical tourism and family-planning services, including support for foreign intended parents and partner clinics operating in Armenia
• Advised Unibank OJSC Armenia on its IPO, including prospectus drafting and regulatory approvals
• Counsel to international asset management groups on Armenian market entry and licensing
• Supported the acquisition of an Armenian telecom operator by Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) in cooperation with international counsel
• Advised shareholders during the sale of Armimpex Bank CJSC (now Ameriabank) to a foreign investor
• Long-term external counsel to Save the Children Federation on governance and regulatory matters
• Advised multiple international development institutions on compliance and operational frameworks for projects in Armenia
